My love for photography began when I was a young girl. My family was obsessed with taking photos, and my mom would let me use her Kodac camera to take photos around the house. I would dress up my little sisters and take their portraits in front of blanketed backdrops, which I tied to furniture and doors. My mom bought me my first camera in high school, a Canon T-60, and I was hooked. I took it everywhere with me and enjoyed documenting my family and friends, especially the women in my family and my young son.

I still carry a camera everywhere I go and enjoy photographing animals, children, cityscapes, boudoir and a variety of interesting objects and oddly shaped vegetables. I use a variety of cameras, including Canon, Leica, Holga and my iPhone 5.
